Women Prayer Union is an organisation of women within the Methodist Church In Africa. This Manyano was formed to enhance and strengthen the spiritual well-being of women. It is operating according to rules and code of conduct outlined in the constitution. The existence of this union has played a very significant role in moulding women of faith and of substance both in church and communities.

This has been attained through:

• Supporting each other by promoting spirit of fellowship among its members
• Prayer meetings
• Worship and sharing the word of God
• Christian service through visiting the sick and helping the needy

To fulfil its mandate the union is driven by their District motto, being, ”Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path” Psalm 119 verse 105.
